The Effectiveness of Bibliotherapy way of Implementation Of Book Trolley Plan on Resilience and Life Expectancy In Improve The Adolescents Health Status developed to Cancer

Purpose: Identifying the effectiveness of bibliotherapy ­implementation of book trolley plan on resilience and life expectancy in cancer adolescents of Be’sat hospital, Hamadan city.   Methodology: The method of this quasi-experimental study was to use a pretest-posttest design with two groups of control and experiment. The group tested group book sessions and did not intervene more than usual practices in the research environment. The research sample included 30 adolescents with cancer aged 10 to 14 who were at initial stage of the disease and had at least one chemotherapy course. The research instrument was two questionnaires, Conner's perseverance and Schneider's life expectancy. Data analysis was done using independent t-test and covariance analysis in SPSS software.   Findings: The results showed that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of two components, resiliency and life expectancy in the control and experimental group. The effect of group therapy on life expectancy in cancer patients is 43.6% and the effect of group therapy on resilience is 64.1%.  originality: So far, no research has been done on the effect of a group therapy on the level of survival, life expectancy for adolescents with cancer, and this is the first research carried out in this area.
